Frequently Asked Questions
Can I help you ?
What is RO purifier?
A Reverse Osmosis (RO) purifier is a high-end water purification technology widely utilized in countries like the USA, Europe, Japan, and China. It employs a semi-permeable membrane to remove 99.99% of bacteria and over 90% of minerals from tap water, resulting in pure and clean drinking water.
Why is iClear RO purifier affordable?
iClear's supply chain operates directly from the manufacturer to the consumer, eliminating intermediaries and ensuring affordable pricing.
Does RO Purification Affect Essential Minerals Necessary for Good Health?
Indeed, the human body requires minerals for its proper functioning. Nevertheless, in certain regions, water contains minerals in high concentrations, resulting in a salty taste. Prolonged consumption of such water can potentially lead to issues like teeth discoloration, weakened bones, and various waterborne diseases. It's worth noting that RO purification typically removes around 90% of minerals from water, but not all of them. Additionally, our bodies can obtain minerals from alternative sources such as food, milk, tea, coffee, and more.
Does the purifier consume a significant amount of electricity?
Generating approximately 500 liters of purified water per 1 unit of electricity, it proves to be cost-effective and friendly to your electricity bill.
How can I ascertain that the water purified by iClear is free of bacteria?
Our purifiers have undergone rigorous testing and have received certifications from SGS, CE, and KEBS. They are also qualified by the Kenya Water Institute, affirming their reliability and quality.
Does iClear employ chemical agents in the process of water purification?
No, iClear does not utilize chemicals in its water purification process. Instead, we employ Reverse Osmosis, which removes contaminants from water by applying pressure to move water molecules through a semi-permeable membrane.
When obtaining purified water, wastewater is inevitably generated. Why isn't it possible for the source water to be 100% purified without any wastewater?
iClear's RO purification system maintains a 1:1 ratio between purified water and wastewater. This process effectively filters out bacteria, minerals, sand, dirt, particles, and more from the source water, which are then flushed out with the wastewater, resulting in purified, clean drinking water. Additionally, the wastewater can be collected and repurposed for tasks such as laundry and washing.
While some other brands offer RO purifiers with 5 or 6 stages, iClear utilizes a 3-stage purification system. Does this difference in the number of stages affect the quality of purification?
No, the number of purification stages does not necessarily affect the quality if the RO purifier is sufficiently robust. The RO filter is the primary purification component, and additional stages may increase maintenance costs and the risk of contamination with long-term use. iClear, as a service-oriented company, designs its products intelligently and reliably based on market trends, ensuring high-quality purification and a positive user experience for all customers.
Can the iClear Standard or Premier RO purifier generate hot purified water?
No, the iClear Standard and Premier RO purifiers concentrate solely on water purification to maintain affordability. However, we do offer the Desktop and Office-Use purifiers, which are multifunctional machines combining both purification and water dispensing capabilities.
Is it possible for iClear to purify borehole water?
Preferably, clean city council tap water is recommended for use. Nonetheless, if the borehole water is clear, transparent, and has a TDS value below 750, it can undergo purification.
If I have installed an iClear purifier, how can I access after-sales service when needed in the future?
It's straightforward. Clients can reach out to the iClear office hotline or visit the iClear website for support. Furthermore, the iClear Call-Center will proactively contact clients at regular intervals to assess their usage experience and dispatch plumbers to client homes within 24 hours if necessary.
